After England's exit to reigning world champions France in the quarterfinals of the FIFA World Cup 2022, captain Harry Kane claimed responsibility. The French defeated England 2-1 at Al Khor on Sunday and advanced to the semifinals of the ongoing FIFA World Cup 2022 thanks to strikes from Aurelien Tchouameni and Olivier Giroud. Kane could have scored the equalizer in the dying minutes through a penalty, but it was a miss he may regret. Kane stated that a World Cup occurs every four years. It is a long time to wait.
